Ingredients

  • 1lb of ground beef
  • 1 small white onion (grated)
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper
  • 8 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1 tomato - sliced
  • 1 red onion - sliced
  • 6-8 mini pretzel buns - split
  • Canola or avocado oil
  • Garnish
  • Lettuce
  • Ketchup
  • Yellow mustard
  • @traderjoes Magnifisauce (Compares to in and out burger sauce)

Instructions

1

In a large bowl, using your hands, combine ground beef, onions, garlic, black pepper and salt. Mix all of the ingredients well and shape into small balls. You can also use a small ice cream scoop to help you divide the meat evenly.

2

Heat a large pan or an iron skillet on medium to high heat. Add 1 tbsp of oil and add 3-4 meatballs in and flatten with your spatula.

3

Cook until the bottom of the burgers are crisp and golden brown and flip to cook the other side.

4

Top each burger patty with a slice (or 2) of cheese, lower the heat and cover the pan with a lid or a piece of foil to let the cheese melt.

5

Top on top of your pretzel bun and top with onions, tomatoes, lettuce and Trader Joes magnifisauce. If you dont have this sauce you can top your burgers with ketchup, mustard and a little bit of mayo and it will be just as delicious. Enjoy!

Notes

Toast your pretzel buns for the best flavor.
