Hi! My name is Anisa and I am the cook, photographer, and “pickyeater” behind Picky Eaters Kitchen. I live near Chicago with my husband Jay along with our son and daughter, Gabriel and Hannah. Being a mom of two and juggling my blog and the family business, my life can get pretty busy. I try to keep recipes quick, simple, nutritious and always delicious for the whole family.
What can I say about my passion for food? I love to cook, eat, entertain, and travel. My husband and I have been lucky enough to travel to over 35+ countries. Our love for other cultures and culinary traditions also inspires me to recreate some of our favorite dishes from all around the world.
Growing up in my house, cooking and sharing a meal is what brought everyone together everyday. My house was full of picky eaters which included my two younger sisters, Grandma, Mom and Dad. Turns out, I’m no different 🙂
