Eid Mubarak Everyone! I made this quick, sweet treat with the kiddos today for the whole family!
Falooda (Rose Milk Dessert)
Falooda is a very popular ice cream dessert in South Asia and in the Middle East. Most people usually enjoy it on a hot day like today, but it is also used as a dessert to celebrate different events such as the Islamic Holiday Eid Al-Adha. This dessert is an ice cream dessert that is usually made with milk, ice cream, rose syrup, Jell-O, Chia seeds and a type of noodle, usually a vermicelli. There are many variations for this dessert. Since i’ve grown up in the US, I make it with ingredients my family enjoys and has on hand. Since we have a couple of picky eaters in my home, we usually skip the noodles.
