This condiment is made with just a handful of simple ingredients. It's gluten-free, so refreshing, spicy and tangy. The perfect addition to any Indian/ Pakistani meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cilantro leaves (washed and without stems)
  • 1 cup Mint leaves (Washed and without stems)
  • 1/2 cup Green onion stems
  • 4 cloves of Garlic (peeled)
  • 1-2 Jalapeños (seeded)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 1 tbsp of grated Coconut
  • 2 tsps Cumin Powder or 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar or Coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp of Lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup of Water or more for a thinner consistency

Instructions

1

Add all the ingredients to the blender or food processor.

2

Blend at low speed until the ingredients start to mix, then scrape down the sides and increase the speed and blend until it comes to desired consistency. We like ours with a bit of texture.

3

Enjoy! It keeps in the fridge for about a week or keep in the freezer for later use.
