Missing our travels to the Middle East and all the yummy food there, so I tried to bring a piece of our travels back to remind us of how SWEET those days were! ? Here are my chocolate dipped dates. It’s the perfect treat to end your meal. ?

Chocolate Dipped Dates
Pitted dates that are stuffed with almond butter, sweetened coconut, salted pistachios and honey roasted almonds.
Ingredients
- 7-10 Dates (pitted)
- 1/3 Cup of chocolate chips
- 1 tsp of coconut oil
- 1/4 cup of almond butter
- 3 tbsps of Sliced almonds and pistachios
- 1 tbsp of sweetened coconut flakes
Instructions
Slice 7-10 dates from the top to create a pocket and remove the pit and set aside.
In a small bowl, melt 1/3 cup of semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave for 30 seconds at a time.
Remove stir and once it looks as if it’s melting add 1 tsp of coconut oil and stir until it’s fully melted. It took me a little less than 2 minutes total to melt.
Dip your dates in the melted chocolate and place on a paper plate or over parchment paper to prevent them from sticking.
Once all the dates are covered, put them in the fridge for 5-10 minutes to let the chocolate harden.
In the meantime, prepare your stuffing. Chop your pistachios and slice your almonds.
Once your dates have cooled, add 1 tsp of almond butter, then top it with sweetened coconut, pistachios and almonds. Enjoy!
Notes
You can also melt chocolate over a double boiler on the stove.
