The Ebrahim Sisters Puppy Chow

Puppy chow or Chex muddy buddies, whatever you call it… it’s soooo good! This was a dish my sisters and I would make together every few months, and especially on movie nights! Now, I get to make these delicious treats with my babies! This is a quick, no bake recipe that you can make with your kids. Gabriel and Hannah loved helping me make these treats and loved eating them even more!

Puppy chow or Chex muddy buddies, whatever you call it... it’s soooo good! This was a dish my sisters and I would make together every few months, and especially on movie nights! Now, I get to make these delicious treats with my babies! This is a quick, no bake recipe that you can make with your kids. Ingredients

  • 1-2 tbsp of butter
  • 1/2 cup of peanut butter
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 box of @chexcereal Rice Chex cereal or about 9 cups of Rice Chex cereal
  • 1-2 cups of pretzel sticks
  • 1-2 cups of sugar cookie @mmschocolate (This is new to our mix)
  • 1-2 cups powdered sugar
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

1

In a large microwave safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then stir to combine. Continue microwaving in 30 second increments until mixture is completely smooth. Add vanilla and salt and stir to combine.

2

Pour cereal into a large bowl, then pour over the chocolate mixture. Toss gently until all cereal is coated. Try not to break the cereal as you are mixing. Then pour your coated cereal and pretzel sticks into a large resealable plastic bag or a large container with a lid that seals shut, add powdered sugar and shake to coat. Add m&ms and enjoy immediately, or store in an airtight container until you’re ready to serve.
