Caramel Smoothie

It’s Labor Day weekend and what do most people want to do on this long weekend…eat! Instead of the sugary fatty foods that we all want to indulge in, here’s a healthy twist on a milkshake. You won’t miss all the sugar and fat because the flavor makes up for all of that! I’ve been making this milkshake for my husband for years and he has no idea that it’s good for him. ?

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1 cup almond milk (I used @califiafarms coconut almond)
  • 2 tbsps of almond butter
  • 8 pitted soft dates
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1-2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp of shredded sweetened coconut

Instructions

Blend all of the ingredients above in a blender and enjoy!
