Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground beef. I usually get 90% lean meat.
  • 2 tbsps of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsps of @shanfoodsglobal Seekh Kabob Masala
  • 1 tbsp of @shanfoodsglobal Bihari kabob Masala
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 jalapeño (with or without seeds, depending on the level of spice you like)
  • 1/2 tbsp of ground cumin
  • 2 large shallots
  • 1-2 Fresno peppers
  • Handful of cilantro
  • 2 tbsp of canola oil (to cook with)

Instructions

1

Place all of the ingredients for the marinade, except for the ground beef, 1 Fresno pepper and 1 shallot, into the food processor and chop.

2

In a large bowl, add the chopped mixture to the ground beef and mix well.

3

Refrigerate overnight. If no time, I recommend for at least 2 - 3 hours so the flavors can blend well.

4

Heat a large skillet with 1-2 tbsp of oil and sear your sliced shallots and Fresno peppers. Season them with salt and pepper.

5

Shape your kabobs in whatever shapes you prefer and add them in with your shallots and peppers.

6

Brown on all sides and serve with a roti, naan, or even a salad.
