Happy Friday! Going to keep it easy today with these taco pizzas for the whole family! This is a dupe of my favorite CPK Mexican pizza. It has a ton of delicious toppings and I’ve topped it with a delicious sour cream sauce… just like @cpk . ?
Recipe
GLUTEN FREE TACO PIZZA
Ingredients
- A pre-made crust. I used @traderjoes broccoli and kale or cauliflower crust as well as their cauliflower cheese pizza
- 1/3 cup of ground taco meat (recipe on my blog)
- 1/4 cup of chopped bell peppers
- 4 tbsp of chopped red onions
- 4 tbsp of whole kernel corn
- 4 tbsp of chopped tomatoes
- 4 tbsp of black beans
- 1/2 cup of melting Mexican cheese (I used @Kraft Philadelphia Mexican cheese.
- Pinch of taco seasoning
- Green onion sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup of chopped green onion
- 1 jalapeño seeded
- 1/3 cup cilantro
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp onion salt
- Juice of one whole lime or a small lemon
- 1 tsp zest of lime or lemon
- Pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
Start by preheating your oven to 400° and baking off your crust. Once your crust is cooked on one side, flip it to make sure it is crisp on the other side. If you are using the @traderjoes cauliflower cheese pizza, you just need to make sure the crust is cooked through. No need to flip.
While the crust is baking, make your taco meat (recipe on my blog) and prep your toppings and sauce.
Once your crust is out of the oven, flip it back to the right side up and top with your cheese, meat, beans and then all the veggies and pop it back into the oven on 350° for about 10-15 minutes.
You just want to make sure all the cheese has melted and the flavors are blending together.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes then top with your green onion sauce and some @cholulahotsauce and serve!
ENJOY!
Notes
*sub for sour cream - mayo or Greek yogurt. Do not add salt if you use mayo!
