  • 2 candy canes (crushed)
  • 1/2 tsp of peppermint extract (optional)

1

Start by lining a 8×8 pan with parchment paper.

Melt the dark chocolate and white chocolate separately in two bowls using a double boiler, or in the microwave in 30-second intervals.

Only melt the chocolate until it’s about 85% melted.

4

Then, remove and stir with a spatula until fully melted.

5

Start by melting the dark chocolate first.

6

Pour the dark chocolate onto the pan, then use a spatula to spread the chocolate into a large square, until it is about 1/4 inch thick.

7

Place the pan in the fridge to cool for 30 minutes.

8

Next, melt the white chocolate.

9

Add a 1/2 tsp of peppermint extract (optional).

10

Once melted, pour the white chocolate over the dark chocolate.

11

Spread with the back of a spoon until an even layer is formed.

12

Sprinkle on the crushed candy cane and lightly press with your hands.

13

Place in the refrigerator to set for about 30-60 minutes.

14

Once the chocolate has hardened, use a knife to cut into pieces and ENJOY!
