10 Minute Pasta

Okay so we’ve all heard of great 30 minute meals, but I’m going to show you how to do it in 10! This dish definitely doesn’t taste like it was ready in 10 minutes (my husband said it was restaurant quality.) It has such amazing and complex flavors and it all has to do with @traderjoes Romesco sauce. The kids ate their whole serving and asked for more!!

Cooking Time: 10 Minutes Total Time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients

  • Rigatoni pasta - 3 cups
  • Trader Joe’s Romesco sauce - 4 tbsps
  • 3 cloves of garlic - minced
  • Olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • Half and half - 1/5 cup
  • Parmesan cheese - 1/4 cup
  • Splash of pasta water

Instructions

1

Bring your water in your pot to a boil and add salt.

2

Add your pasta and stir and cook for about 7 to 8 minutes, or until it’s cooked al dente.

3

Drain your pasta and reserve about a cup of your pasta water on the side.

4

Use the same pot if you’d like and add a tablespoon of olive oil and three cloves of garlic on low to medium heat.

5

Stir until fragrant.

6

Make sure the garlic doesn’t burn.

7

Add your Romesco sauce and stir.

8

Then add your half and half and mix well on low heat.

9

Add your pasta and cheese and coat everything in the pasta sauce.

10

Add a splash of the pasta water and mix everything well.

11

Taste for seasoning at this point, but I just let it sit for a minute to let the sauce thicken and it’s ready to serve!
